Takes place this Friday, the 18th of September all over Ireland.

Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir is a national moment, celebrating all that makes up the richness and diversity of Culture in Ireland today, connecting people to cultural activities locally and nationally.

This annual all-island public event in Ireland celebrates creativity, arts, and culture by opening doors to cultural venues late into the night completely free of charge.

Culture Night is supported by the Arts Council and Dublin City Council.

What to expect:

  • Late-Night Access: Museums, galleries, cathedrals, libraries, government buildings, and artist studios extend their opening hours.
  • Free Events: Hundreds of specially curated tours, workshops, pop-up performances, and concerts are offered at no cost.
  • Citywide Participation: Activities span traditional indoor venues as well as outdoor public spaces, street performances, and open-air discos.
  • Diverse Programming: Events range from classical music and opera to contemporary dance, family workshops, and cultural showcases.
