The Dublin Marathon takes place this Sunday, the 25th of October, with 22,500 runners partaking in the 26.2mile race.
This year marks the 45th year of the Dublin Marathon.
The route takes runners through Dublin’s most recognisable streets, neighbourhoods, and landmarks, combining flat sections with challenging climbs.
The marathon starts on Leeson Street near St. Stephen’s Green and finishes on Mount Street near the Pepper Canister Church.
There will be a lot of road closures, some starting as early as Friday.
